Pet Treat Business - Launch Kit - Digital Download
The Boss Kid Launch Kit: Pet Treat Business is a creative entrepreneurship workbook designed for kids who love dogs and want to turn simple, safe treats into a real business.
This printable business kit guides young entrepreneurs step by step through six missions that turn a recipe into a beginner-friendly business. Kids will pick a starter recipe, learn the rules of what's safe (and what's never safe) to feed a dog, name and brand their treat business, price for profit, plan a market day, and track their sales.
This kit is ideal for kids who love animals, baking, or hands-on projects. It gives them a structured way to learn business skills while making a real product for a customer base most kid businesses never reach: pet owners.
Parents, homeschool families, teachers, youth group leaders, and after-school program coordinators can use this kit to introduce entrepreneurship, financial literacy, food safety, and confidence-building in a simple and engaging way.
Pet Food Safety Comes First
This kit opens Mission 2 with a clear "Never Feed Your Dog This" callout covering chocolate, xylitol, onions, garlic, grapes, and raisins, before any recipe instructions begin. Kids choose between a No-Bake Peanut Butter & Oat Bites recipe (no oven needed) and a Baked Pumpkin Dog Biscuits recipe (adult-supervised oven required). A Note for Grown-Ups is built into the front of the kit with full safety and veterinary guidance.
