About This Alignment

Wyoming is one of the few states whose career education standards are built as a true K–12 framework. The Wyoming Career & Vocational Education (C/VE) Content and Performance Standards define five content standards — Career Development and Readiness, Communication and Collaboration, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Technical Literacy, and Technical Proficiency and Productivity — with specific benchmarks at grades 5, 8, and 12 (cited as CV5, CV8, and CV12 codes).
