About This Alignment

Georgia's Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) system is built as a K–12 pipeline. The Georgia Department of Education publishes elementary career awareness activities for all of Georgia's career clusters, middle school foundations courses in business administration, business management, and investing & finance, and a high school Entrepreneurship pathway in the business cluster — a three-course sequence (Introduction to Business & Technology → Legal Environment of Business → Entrepreneurship) in which students plan, manage, and operate a business or business simulation, with FBLA competencies integrated throughout.

Boss Kid Build maps onto this pipeline at exactly the point where Georgia's career awareness activities live: the elementary and early middle grades. Every kit builds the vocabulary, mindsets, and hands-on experience that Georgia's Entrepreneurship pathway standards develop at the high school level — engaging students in the creation and management of a real venture years before they can enroll in the pathway.
